maintenance plan

To better serve our customerís needs we have developed a quarterly maintenance plan that covers many of the most common support cases that we handle. We will analyze the operation of your network, servers, and workstations and provide you with a breakdown of issues and potential problems that we find.

For $250 per quarter our staff will perform the following maintenance checks on one network server in your organization. The same checks will be performed on additional servers at the cost of $50 per server.

Server Maintenance checks include:

  • Review system logs for errors and potential problems
  • Review service pack and hotfix installation history
  • Review hard disk usage and health reports
  • Review system backup process and disaster recovery status

  •     Update emergency repair disks
        Test backup media
        Confirm data set that is being backed up
  • Review Antivirus Protection

  •     Check program version and signature files
        Review scan history log for virus alerts
        Review exclusions and exemption list for potential issues
        Review scheduled system scans
        Verify that scheduled updates are being performed

    Network Maintenance checks include:
  • Document network devices (hubs/switches/routers)
  • Review device configuration
  • Review firewall configuration

  • We also recommend that regular maintenance checks be performed on your workstations. For $25 per computer we will perform the following steps and provide you with a detailed report.

    Workstation Maintenance checks include:
  • Review disk usage
  • Review hardware statistics
  • Review hotfix and service pack install history
  • Review antivirus program configuration

  • Upon completion of these items we will provide a comprehensive report detailing areas of concern and issues that have been identified thru this process. You will receive a breakdown of your hardware specs for the workstations, a list of service packs and hotfixes that need to be installed, and recommended services or products that will assist in performing these items.
